From Kyoto, catch the Kosei Line to Horai Station (get on a non express/non-rapid train).
We are only 5 minutes walk from the station (South) along Route 161.
If you are driving (from the South), just get onto Route 161 and head North from the Biwako O-Hashi (Lake Biwa Bridge) in Katata.
