Staff Profile:
Principal - Yoshio Inoue
I have recently opened a Japanese Language Campus with Japanese style housing on the shores of the largest lake in Japan, Lake Biwa at my sailing club, BSC which I first opened in 1973.
30 years ago, I studied abroad in England. I have fond memories of my time with the English people (and with the Australian’s and American’s I also met at the time). Almost all of the things I experienced were new and different to the culture and life style I was accustomed to. On my trip, I went to Busan, Soul, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Greece, Britain, Paris, Denmark, Taiwan, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and Norway. It was an opportunity of a life time that I have never forgotten. It helped shape the way I view the world.
Because of this, I now want to open the doors of my campus to young people of the world who are interested in Japan and to all those who want to come and experience Japan for all that it has to offer. I have created a Japanese studies program that I hope will be not just a sight seeing trip, but an experience of a lifetime.
My program is designed to be user friendly, to provide opportunities to make life long friendships with the young people of Japan, to experience Japanese culture and language, the water sports and the skiing and historical cities such as Kyoto and Nara.
I hope this unique campus will be an experience of a lifetime and I look forward to meeting you soon.
